No response after initial email asking to set up an interview
Last week I got an email from a bank I applied to asking to set up a time for a phone interview for the following week. I emailed them back with the times I was avaiable this upcoming week, but it's been like 3 days and they haven't responded yet. Should I email them back? Or should I just wait for a response on monday?

You're concerned because the bank didn't email you on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday?
maybe your response just didn't stand out. do something special in future emails, like include a sexually suggesetive wink at the end or straight up throw in a JPG of your naughty parts - gotta keep em on their toes!
Best Option: Send a series of pics that reveal a little bit more each time, sure fire winner

Hey guys,
I got an email from a bank to schedule a time to interview for an IB analyst job. I listed out several convenient times and replied to it. NO response for 4 days so I send a follow up. No response for another 4 days so I send another followup. Interviewer responds 3 days after second follow up letting me know he'd contact me the next week to finalize an interview time.
Following week comes and goes without an email from the interviewer. So I send another followup and now I'm sitting on it 5 days later. I was thinking about calling the interviewer's direct line and wanted to know whether that would have been a better move than sending the followup emails.
Regardless, are there any ways to salvage the interview?
This has happened to me about two or three times. Most of the time, the HR rep never followed back up with me. This could be due to many cases. I know in one of my scenarios, someone within the department recently brought someone in they know for an interview in which they gave him an offer. Given that he got in as a referral and I went the application route, he didn't have to deal with the lag time associate with the application system.
I would give them a call after 7 days from the email and leave a VM saying how you are sincerely interested in the company and mention some bullcrap like, I feel like I can excel in your company's autonomous culture or something. If no response, ditch it until you hear back and keep applying elsewhere.
Its like a girl. Three texts in and no response, do you keep texting/calling her?

A member of the firm I plan to interview at asked me for my availability to schedule an interview. I responded 10 days ago, but have not heard back. Is it appropriate to follow up at this point, or should I give them more time?

so i was contacted by HR from a regional boutique that i got a phone interview and they wanted to know times i would be available. so i emailed them back with times, but they didn't respond. few days pass and i email the HR lady again to follow up. no response. call front desk and they connect me to some HR lady who isn't at her desk so i leave a message. that was a few days ago and guess what, no response.
i don't wanna be that annoying kid but should i keep calling them?

I was sent out an email to do a first round phone interview for a sophomore program at a BB. I replied with the day I'd be available [today, precisely] and said if rescheduling be needed, I'd work around the banker's schedule.
Essentially, I haven't gotten an email back, so I'm a bit worried, given I was given a tight deadline for the interview. Has this happened to anyone / done this to an interviewee? Should I expect not to interview anymore?

You should call whoever sent you the email to see what's going on. Don't think it's too much of an issue, bankers get busy quick
I'm going to take the opposite stance from everyone here.
I think you kind of fucked it by not saying "yes" to the time and day they gave you. If you want to change the actual time of it so that it's 30 minutes early before or after, it's usually not a problem. Rescheduling the day is. Sometimes first-round interviews can get done in just 1 day with some places. If you weren't on that day, then tough luck. Sometimes, you might get your rescheduling wish but actually have already been taken out of consideration since the guys already have their choices in mind.
No one gave me a time. I was asked to give them a day and time, and I said Friday anytime. No response to the email I sent.
