Looks like the thread didn't post properly...
I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas of how they would invest in the event of a Brexit and how they would invest in the event a Brexit does not occur?
My intuition would be to stay far away from that. These things are pretty hard to guess and there will be a lot of volatility both ways as the referendum gets close (unless polls show clear yes/no). Would be curious to hear someone more experienced on this

This was a terrible post, but addresses the issue. UK doesn't share the currency so I don't know how many investing ideas you could play off a scenario like this one.
Random ideas off the top of my head for Brexit that may be wrong: smth like Next vs Asos with the latter deriving more revenues from EU sales, short any agriculture with EU exposure cus CAP, long inflation-linked fixed income cus BoE will have no balls to raise rates even if there's inflation, long utilities cus inflation, short national grid vs smth cus might be left out of the european energy market.
That said, I don't think Brexit will happen.
