Investment Banking as a Career?
Just out of curiosity, how many of you are thinking of pursuing banking as a long term career? And if so why?
I'm currently in the middle of a career change and can see banking as potentially a career choice as opposed to just a stepping stone for something else, so I just wanted to get some opinions from people who already have banking experience.
Honestly, I would never ever pursue a banking career. I would like to go to HF after my study. But if I should start my career as investment banker at first, then I would do that for 2 or 3 years, quit and go to HF.
Once I start something, I give it all my effort, and I don't stop until the very end. So yes, I will be a career banker and rise as high as I can. But that's just me.
