Is Finance and Economics Double Major suitable for Harvard 2+2?

The 2+2 program is geared towards people with a non business major. Economics is a social sciences major, but finance is not. Would this "disqualify" me from strong contention for acceptance into the Harvard Business School 2+2 program?

It would depend on the make up of the Economics program. Whether math intensive or financially heavy, etc. Things of that nature. So if you can find out the make up of the Econ program you should be able to get a good idea.

If you ain't buy side what are you doing on Wall St.? Gimme something good sport...

Does 2+2 get a lot of applicants from econ/finance people anyways? Do you think I'd have a decent shot at it studying engineering at MIT (minors in finance and econ... maybe I won't stress this in my application!) despite less than perfect grades? How would being involved with a startup change things?
