Is Georgia Tech a semi target school?
I will be going to Georgia Tech to study finance this fall as class of '20. Going to Georgia Tech would be the best financial choice (basically debt free) as an in-state resident with scholarships. I would like to know the chances of breaking into investment banks from Georgia Tech.
1)Would Georgia Tech not be good enough for investment banks?
2)Would it worth transferring after sophomore year to a better school (e.g. Emory or Uni of North Carolina-Capel Hills) but be in student debt after graduating out of college?
3)Would it worth saving the undergrad tuition and go to a better business grad school for MBA instead?
What are your thoughts?
PM me if you want more details.
I know it sounds stupid to ask, but what kind of network should I build while in college that will help me to get into the invesment bank industry? Could you please elaborate on that
I would join the Investments Committee and use Linkedin to find Tech alumni on the street.
