Is Growth Equity a potential option for ER?
I know that ER skillset is very different from the banking skillset, but would someone with ~1-2 years of ER experience have a good chance at growth equity?
And what could you possible do to maximize those chances?

I haven't seen anything definitive on this, so I wanted some input on the transition.
People say moving from ER to growth equity is very possible. Is it possible to go from a top ER division at a BB to a major player in growth equity after 2-3 years?
What would I have to do to maximize my chances to get into a large growth shop? Also, is it possible to go from business school without having done it pre MBA?
Looking at a place like General Atlantic they all come from IBD, so I wasn't sure.

Don't think this is common. Ultimately, you need deal experience to have a good shot of landing a role at a growth equity shop.
False. Very much depends on the growth shop.
Which growth shops would be a fit do you think?
