JMSB --> Desautels Transfer GPA
Hi,
I've recently applied to transfer to Desautels B.Com. I am wondering How much is the GPA cutoff to transfer to Desautels based on the most recent years and stats. My GPA is going to be around 3.7-ish so I am a little worried.
If not accepted into B.Com finance, is it worth it to transfer to the BA Joint Honours Econ and Finance from Concordia JMSB?

I have a friend who tried to do that and didn't get in and she had a 3.8. It depends on how many people leave the program in a given year. For example, if nobody in your year leaves Desautels, it is going to be extremely hard to transfer. However, you might get lucky if a large number of students in your year leave the program.

Put it this way, the cutoff for McGill Arts students to transfer to Desautels is over 3.7, with no shortage of internal candidates so I would say chances are slim tbh. Join honours econ and finance is a tougher program, but not sure whether admissions reflect that
