Job Experience/Internships for Banking Internships
Another nooby question, but I have done due diligence already and can't seem to find an actual article/coherent discussion on this.
Do you need to have previous work experience/finance internship(s) completed to get a banking internship, assuming top-notch extracurriculars, 3.8ish GPA and OCR?
Thanks!
Politically correct answer - No you don't. Everybody has a chance as long as they are smart.
Realistic answer - It is exponentially more difficult. Prior internship is strongly preferred.
what if u have 1 no name boutique accounting and 1 "administrative/due diligence oriented" internship at a loan broker's office?
Sorry. No idea lol. I'm a current student and I'm speaking based on observations of older students/former summer analysts.
