Job Description

Chase Business Credit (CBC) is a leading national provider of highly structured asset-based financing to Commercial Bank clients. CBC is a full service provider with dedicated field examination, collateral monitoring, and loan servicing support for both syndicated and sole lender transactions. Typical facilities include Revolving Credit and Term Loans secured by working capital assets, real property and intangible assets. Additional facilities often include Cash Management and Derivative products.
The Portfolio Group is responsible for lending activities and related credit exposures within CBC. The group is organized by geography and leads the client credit relationship in partnership with Commercial Bank coverage (Middle Market and Corporate Client Banking).

Specifically, CBC Portfolio Group:

Remains current on all aspects of the credit relationship, including financial performance, exposure, compliance, potential issues and opportunities
Leads or assists in negotiating and finalizing loan documentation
Prepares credit analysis and seeks approval for all transactions, including loans, derivatives, and operating exposures, individually or as part of a deal team
Maintains client contact and is aware of the client’s needs and cross-sells as appropriate
Provides a cohesive and comprehensive approach to internal risk ratings and assessments
Performs Agent role for closed syndicated transactions, including negotiating and documenting amendments/waivers and responding to syndicate member requests
The Role:

Responsibilities of a Credit Analyst include performing credit and financial analysis, building and maintaining financial models, risk grading of borrowers, preparation of credit approvals, and researching industries. Credit Analysts assist with internal and external audits as well as prepare portfolio reports utilized by senior management. Credit Analysts are an integral part of the Chase Business Credit team, and frequently interact with senior members of the firm and with our clients. Analysts are assigned individual accounts and are challenged to perform at the highest levels of excellence in a demanding environment.

This position is part of a three year Commercial Bank Analyst program. Coming in as a 1st year Analyst, you would have two year remaining in the program.
