JPM IM Super Day
Hey guys, so I have a super day coming up for JP Morgan Investment Management for an Equity SA Position. Even though I worked in banking last summer I've never done a super day before, and the ones I've heard about were for IBD Internships. Does anyone know what I should expect? Their email only says its from 8AM-5PM, no other details. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I had an IM superday on tuesday (2/4) and wasn't too bad - mostly fit and questions about the markets...haven't heard back yet though.....anyone else?
Which groups were these superdays for? Does IM typically have more than 1-2 superdays across all its divisions?
mine was for the AM - Solutions role with the fixed income team...does anyone know how long it typically takes to hear back? im still waiting, getting pretty worried..
Based on the thread from last year's IM recruiting cycle, it seems like some groups take a while to respond after the phone interview because they are filling up spots with target candidates first. Wouldn't rule anything out for another week, it seems like there are multiple superdays near the end of February.
Did anyone hear back last week for superday invites? Still haven't heard anything, and I think the time window is quickly closing.

I searched around and only found one thread that didn't have much info.
Soph at non-target and have a phone interview with someone in the FI department soon. Anyone been through the process and have any tips? This is pretty important to me as I don't think I'm going to get many other interviews...
Anything I could do to prepare beyond reading the WSJ? Should I brush up on bond math/duration etc.?
Also, not that it matters right now but I was curious to know what people would think of such an opportunity for someone interested in a value investing future.
Thanks.
bump
I would guess that the call will be almost entirely fit-oriented. Why JPM? Why Inv Management? Can you tell your story? Don't stress too much about this one. They want to see that you're a calm and confident person.
Definitely bond pricing, duration, convexity. I don't know the specifics of your role but maybe brush up on put/callable and converts and their relative prices.
Bump, any more insights?
don't know if it's too late to respond but I just had an interview for the exact same position. Yeah, mainly fit. Know what the fed is doing!! very important.
Let me know how it goes.
Was mostly fit too. Haven't heard back yet, might have gotten dinged.
Was it first round? When did you have the interview?
I had it last Thursday.
if it was a first round, yeah, you probably got dinged.
