If you really want that type of name, why don't you try to lateral after your first year at the MM?
That was my plan originally - Now that I've been given this new interview opportunity, I was just wondering what the key decision factors would be if it came down to the hypothetical where I did receive an offer as a JPM junior analyst.
So, assuming the JPM Junior Analyst to 1st Year Analyst conversion rate is higher than the chance of lateraling after a year in MM, is this higher chance worth the dock in pay/add'l year as an analyst?
Of course I realize that my choices are the same right now given I haven't even interviewed. Just curious as to what others thought.
