Junior Internship: Boutique investment bank or RFP and Business process's at large AM firm??
I received an offer with a large AM firm but the internship is with the RFP and business reporting division...
I have a technical degree and I was surprised they placed me in this division given my quantitative skill set.
Is RFP and Business reporting a good place to start my career? Would the position pay well enough to afford living in LA? How feasible would it be to transition into a trading or PM role if I start here?
The other option is a small IB that has a fair amount of deal flow and is great at what they do in their niche. I just don't know if I like the small shop vibe and the work space is a lot less attractive than the large AM firm.
What should I do guys? Could really use some advice on this one....
