Just lost my internship lead for the summer..any ideas or advice?

It was looking good that I had an internship secured for this summer until about a few days ago when they reached out and said they just couldn't make it happen this summer. Obviously, I'm at a huge loss and freaking out now that I don't know what to do and have nothing secured. I sent out resumes and cold emails to hundreds of firms since I started looking and really don't have anything to fall back on.

I already have one IB internship under my belt, as well as other finance gigs, and am coming from a target. Anybody know of any last minute internships that are open? Thanks...

call up MDs/Directors/VPs from small firms in town that have look (given the size of their team) like they don't usually have an internship program...i just cold-called several of those 1.5 weeks ago and interviewed for two of them on wednesday and got an offer from 1 of the 2

"Respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life."

This happened to me the summer before my senior year. I got an internship at a boutique, and they canceled last minute. I ended up just pounding the pavement and calling places from traditional IBs to business brokers. I ended up with an internship at a boutique IB/business broker, where I gained some valuable deal experience. Good luck!
