KeyBank Capital Markets Investment Banking Analyst position

Have you guys had any experience with that bank? I was reached out to by a recruiter through LinkedIn and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about that bank. Is their IBD good? They are based out of Ohio.

I will talk to him about the details. He wanted me to apply for Associate position initially but am just a SA now so Analyst is the only role I can be considered for. Not sure about city yet but probably Cleveland which I am not excited about at all...

There were several threads on Keybank (also try Keybanc), many involving a comparison to other MM banks (i.e. HLHZ). As others have stated solid MM group. Deal flow is a bit more sporadic than the top shops (i.e. Blair, Baird, Lincoln), but they'll see some plenty of larger deals ($200-$600mm). Think they have a FIG group and I believe Sponsors is based in NYC (I would imagine ER is based there too), not Cleveland.

The only city options I know of are Cleveland, Chi, Seattle or NYC (CLV and NYC are the strongest offices), unless they acquired another group recently or opened up a new office. Saw they also have an MD in Charlotte and some guys in Dal and Hou.
