KKR Clients & Partners Group
Does anyone have info on KKR's Client & Partners Group??
This is all I could find on their site:
Our group of experienced fundraisers and capital market professionals with significant expertise in deal structuring and distribution.
Thanks
I think this might be the group, which raises money for new funds through their existing relationships, kind of like investor relations. But I am not sure if they only work with KKR funds or help raise capital for other firms as well. Also KKR has been putting a lot of effort into raising their own capital for deals, through debt and equity from capital markets, which recently has expanded beyond just KKR transactions.
Thanks non-target
Anyone else have any more insight on this group?
bump.

I've got a sa interview with these guys this friday and was looking for some guidance on how to best prepare for an interview. Any advice?
u probably go to berkeley... should ask people in ufa or dsp. i'm sure there are people there who did interviews with them.
out of curiosity, what does client and partner group do at KKR?
is it like ir or relationship management?
IR
Appreciate the guidance. I'm a junior at a target, with a 3.7 in Econ. Would I be able to go into ft recruiting with this?
There's a interview review on the company data base on here.
Learn about the industry in general (PE), learn about the different funds KKR raises/has raised and if possible what the characteristics of each fund are and which types of investors the firm targets for different offerings.... also learn about PE and alternatives fundraising as a whole... know about pension funds, endowments, fund of funds, wealthy family offices... also know about pension consultants and other "gatekeepers"... learn about fund performance and reporting...
that's kind of unorganized, but it should get you started,
I interviewed for this group last year and from what I remember CPG and the Capital Formation group worked very closely together and many of their responsibilities were interconnected, somewhat like a sponsors group and a levfin group are like at some of the BBs. It was a while ago and I didn't get past first round so my recollection of it is a tad hazy.
I recently interviewed with the SF group. The group itself like others have mentioned is designed to raise capital for KKR's different products. The SF office focuses mainly on the fixed income and credit side of things, while the NY group is more generalist. The CP, CM, and KKR's Capstone group all work very closely together. Hope that helps :)
Hi, what was the interview process for this like?
