KPMG EVS Info?
Next week I go for the superday for KPMG's EVS group. It's valuation and some transfer pricing work. Anyone know what kind of compensation they have? Typical hours per week? Any advice?
Any advice/information is welcome!

What office are you interviewing for? Larger offices have dedicated Valuation vs. Transfer Pricing groups where as smaller offices you do both.
Just received an offer from KPMG EVS. It's in New Jersey.
Anyone with KPMG EVS info? (Originally Posted: 02/11/2015)
Does anyone know what this team do and the kind of people they hire?
For the name I thought it was going to be like the CF-Valuations department of other B4s, but I've been having a look at the EVS practice of KPMG in the US and I don't really understand why is it under the Tax practice? Do they only perform valuations for tax purposes? Any insight would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
yes... I just want know if someone has some inside-info that could be of help.
cheers
No, they are just like any other valuations group, however, EVS is comprised of 1) economics team (more quanty), 2) transfer pricing, and 3) valuations team. If you want to pursue finance go with number 3. It's mainly under tax because it's not just valuations but includes the aforementioned divisions. You do valuations for financial reporting and tax purposes.

Anymore info on what this group does? I've looked at the job description and it seems pretty vague.
I worked there for about a 1.5 years. I can give you detailed answers to any questions you may have. Shoot me a PM. Which office are you looking at, btw?
