Transitioning into a Business Career from a Science Background

Hello Everyone.

I recently graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biology and currently working full time in a laboratory. My plan was to take a few years off and work in this lab and then apply to medical school. Recently, however, I've been considering other career paths because I'm not sure if science and being a doctor is what I really want to do and would like to start earning money ASAP. So I was thinking about trying out other careers (finance, banking, generally business related) and would like to stay in healthcare if it was possible. My problem is I have no idea where to begin and I have no business background at all. My undergraduate GPA was a 3.1 and I have to commit to this lab position for at least 2 years. I plan to have some publications before my time here is over, which will hopefully look good on my resume when applying to jobs. Do you guys have any advice on which steps I should start taking to land a job in the business/finance field? Please let me know!

Thank you so much.
