last ditch effort to get finance-related internship

hey guys. senior at an ivy, no finance-related work experience thus far. have education plans lined up after i graduate, but i want to get a finance internship this summer. no real relevant coursework, but a high GPA and a high GMAT. willing to accept any internship, paid or unpaid, as long as it would give me a credible experience to draw on for "why finance" questions and let me learn something. End goal is to get an analyst position at a bank (boutique/MM/BB) down the road.

have already hit up alums in my regional market for advice and to make contacts, but nothing too solid has come out of (still have some more meetings/convos lined up). Also planning on making a huge list of banks to email. Anything else I should be doing?

What banks or positions in other companies should I be targeting?

any advice or tips would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

thanks.
