Lehman’s Fuld, 7 Years Later, Says ‘Perfect Storm’ Caused Crisis [UPDATED]

Richard Fuld Jr., the man at the helm of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. when it collapsed in 2008, said a “perfect storm” of events caused the financial crisis.

Maybe this is why I haven't seen any comments from @DickFuld" today..

I guess this means he is the real Dick Fuld after all...

Sorry for the delay everyone, I know you've been waiting for my comments.

Well, what did you think of the speech? Personally, I would call it a huge victory. I have my swagger back. Maybe I will be able to write my biography after all.

Thanks to everyone on WSO for helping bring my confidence back.

By the way, I threw this in the speech just for WSO:

“God, there’s so much I’d love to say,” he added. Then, gesturing to a dark drink in his hand, he said, “No, this is not Scotch or rum.”

He then paraphrased the Rat Pack singer Dean Martin: “You know what, I feel sorry for all of you that don’t drink, ’cause when you wake up in the morning, that’s as good as you’re going to feel for the rest of the day. I told my children that for many years.”

While it was not scotch or rum, I think you know what actually was in it.....
