lets praise the SKILLS investment banking has taught us
- the other day I was out to dinner with some buddies and a few girls. I was looking at the menu and noticed that there was two spaces between a couple of the words on the menu. No way I catch that pre-banking. My buddy disputed it with me at first, but then his girl(and eventually everyone else) conceded I was right. That must be like how my mechanic buddy feels when he listens to my car and can immediately tell me whats wrong with it.
- it's given me a "no bullshit" attitude which is great. I don't make smalltalk with people in stores anymore. If someone tries to waste my time asking if I have a customer rewards account I just leave on the spot. Walk out of the store with my shopping cart sitting there.
- watching the MD's has taught me alpha ways to interact with younger people. last week I saw my nephew at the mall, gave him a big grin, said "There he is! You keeping yourself busy?" and just walked away
wut
if you're going to troll, at least put some effort into it. sigh, I'll never get those 2 minutes back.
You know, some people just say 'no' and then proceed to live long, happy and healthy lives only because unless they have decided to live the rest of their lives without the stuff in their cart, they are going to have to go somewhere, find the stuff AGAIN, put it in the cart AGAIN and proceed to checkout AGAIN - where the other clerk can always ask if you have a rewards card.
I think your post makes that questionable.
Why don't I believe this.
Hahah, great!
I opened this topic hoping that there'd be some serious responses.
I am disappoint.
LOL, beat me to it.
This is so obviously a troll post, doesn't even look like you're trying to be serious. Put in some more effort the next time.
So according to the OP troll, being an IB analyst made him into (1) a Rainman-like autistic dude who spots extra spaces in menus and has to bring it up to everyone at the table because they were probably having an interesting conversation that he wasn't in control of, (2) someone who can't shop at any chain drug or grocery store, and if he does try it turns into an eternal circle of shopping, getting to the check out, leaving and trying it at the next drug/grocery store and failing there, or has to buy all of their toothpaste and loaves of bread at 7-11 for 2x the cost, and (3) a douchebag to their young relatives.
Rock on bro.
1/10. Unfunny, clearly a troll post, and the inconsistencies in formatting (periods at the ends of the bullets) force me to question if you are even in IB.
can we ban this guy, clearly OP does not work in IB
