LinkedIn Search Limit

Does anyone know if there is a way around this? I think they cap you at 100 searches per month which is nothing if you're trying to network. I signed up for the premium trial and thought that would give me unlimited searches, but it turns out you need to have the upgraded plan of the premium version which is like $60 a month. Or am I just going to have to make like 10 accounts?

When I was networking I would run a company name on linked in then just scroll through the list without filtering any of the premium attributes until I got to a name/title that interested me. I then took screen shots into a file and moved to next. When I was done with that, I then googled each name to get as many details as possible. I refused to pay for premium so I had to do it the ghetto way. Otherwise pony up. Good luck man.

ah, in that case, look for other ways outside of linkedin to get their names. Also, increase your count by asking for referrals from those contacts you actually have

Dude you're wasting your time. LinkedIn is garbage and while your experience might be different, a cold LinkedIn add is the worst plan of attack. If I don't know someone and they don't even bother to write an intro paragraph (which presumably you're not or you're hashing out some generic garbage) me and everyone else I know declines those 100% of the time. I had no idea LinkedIn had search caps and the fact that you're hitting them shows me you're the worst kind of networker.

No one gets a job through LinkedIn. You're better off with a more focused approach with emails / coffee meetings.

Huh? That's not even what I'm doing. I'm using LinkedIn to find names of people that work in places I am interested in and then I am sending them an email. If you know of a better way to come up with a list of hundreds of people that work in the group(s) you are interested in, I'm all yours.

The only way to skip the limit without paying the premium price is as follows:

  1. Go on and do a normal search as you would have done before.
  2. Click on the any user profile that is still visible.
  3. On the user profile you'll see a tab on the right hand corner that says "Next Search Result". Click on it after you've reviewed the first result in order to continue viewing as many user profiles as possible.

Anyways, that's all I've got. I believe the method I listed can allow you to search more user profiles with a selected criteria without being hindered by the search limit you've reached. The method doesn't allow you to see every profile but a good amount of them. It's important to note that I don't know how long this option will last. Linkedin seems to be cracking down on free searches.

Hope this Helps

Create a fake L.I, with a fake email address that u actually know the login for, and then use the shell L.I to search until u run out of searches. The whole process should take 10 mins at the most, but entirely worth it
