Get meaningful experience. The most important thing on resume for junior SA recruiting is basically your previous summer experience (assuming adequate school/gpa). You need to have something tangible you can talk about. It doesn't have to be the best job ever, but you can't just tell interviewers that you spent the summer reading about IB.

 

Just to reiterate: getting yourself a finance-related internship this summer is very important! If you don't do anything that will look extremely bad on your resume.
