Lunch with Warren Buffett. Do i Include in extras or no?

The title says it. I was lucky enough to attend the annual Q&A with Warren Buffet and got even luckier when sat across the table from him - then after 10 minutes Jimmy Buffett showed up joined us all for lunch (also sitting near me). Should I mention that in the "extras" section of my CV?

Yes, tat's what I thought. Currently i work in Investment Advisory for a low quartile private bank shop and I'm trying to get into AM or ER so I'm trying to add that bit of a kick to my resume that could help me land some interviews for entry level jobs. I feel like the longer i stay in IA the less of a shot I'm getting at the others. Thanks for the advice though.

I agree with the above, not on resume, and don't brag about it, but it's a cool story.

personally, I'd be more curious about jimmy Buffett's personality than warren's. warren has been essentially saying the same thing for 35 years (buy great companies, buy when others are selling, our favorite holding period is forever, blah blah blah). I love the guy and built most of my philosophy on his type of investing, but he's a broken record.

I made it to his annual shareholder meeting for the first time ever this last year. Quite honestly, I didn't care to go, but I figure as a finance person who somewhat idolized him in college, I should go to cross it off the bucket list. But the event was so brutal. 95% of the audience that was privileged to ask a question took most of their time brown nosing. Quite annoying.

Also, I can't help but think he's quite the hypocrite now (the way he talks about hedge funds and managers)..

Yes, it was the same when I went. Supposedly you have one of the greatest investors of all time and people were wasting their question on his personal life matters...I mean, there are biographies and all that sort of stuff out there. I thought that whoever asked about his current views, strategies and or future expectations had done a much better job. Nonetheless, cool experience.

I agree. I don't think it's something to brag about unless he invited me to lunch personally or perhaps something along those lines. I was lucky both to have had my university make the cut and both to pick the right table to sit at.

And yes, his general thinking is that "investing = boring" otherwise not successful...as I mentioned above in my reply, I'm trying to make a bit of a move from Investment Advisory to AM (preferably) or ER and I'm considering any bit of option that could help me show that, not only i have the relevant skills, but also I am truly passionate about investing and markets.

Thanks for the answer by the way!
