Thomson Deals Intelligence (use your college email):As far as free resources go, do sign up for..and also mergermarket has some good high-level M&A market analysis and commentary. Their quarterly reports are great.
Merger and Acquisitions Database of Company M&A

Hey Folks,
I was wondering if any of you could direct me to a database of the past 2-3 years of M&A activity. (that I could access for free...I hope). Specifically I'm looking at M&A deals involving Medical Technology companies.

Looking for a good m&a transaction database (Originally Posted: 02/13/2015)
Hello all,
I've been trying to find a reliable database that lists recent M&A transactions online. I've read through NYT's Deal Book and I have FT but still have trouble finding specific info. I'm particularly interested in UBS and MS' recent transactions. So if you guys have any tips on researching recent deals or any info on UBS/MS it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
dealpipeline
Never used it before, just checked it out and it said something about a subscription/free trial, so I cant really compare.
Just do a search in WSO for M&A database. You will find quite a few threads.
Merger market
mergermarket
bsmac

We have just released an online database of Merger and Acquisition Data for the Media and Software Industries, called MandAsoft. I was hoping to get some feedback on the site to see how to improve it. You can sign up for free. Comments would be greatly appreciated. It is available at http:/mandasoft.com. Thanks
it's a good idea, but i think you'd have more luck with feedback if you posted a working link.

M&A database pls help me (Originally Posted: 11/22/2010)
Hallo everybody,
I'm a student and i'm writing my thesis to end my studies. My thesis is about the internationalisation of the german SMEs to China and I would have some data about the M&A beetween German Smes and Chinese companies. I'm searching in the web since Months but it's impossible to find some database at reasonable prices. Can someone from this forum help me?
SME data does not lend itself well to the majority of commerical databases. Have you tried German public databases?
Thanks for the answer. I didn't find any german public database, but maybe I'm not searching in the right direction. Can you tell me what kind of DB you mean? Thanks again for your help
anybody has a tip?
Where i can get open access about m&a? I try every website that mention before but nothing works. I just need the company name list
