Malaysia vs. New Zealand International Rotation

I have an opportunity to do an international rotation during my summer internship for 4 weeks. It's for a big4 TS. My choices are Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Wellington, New Zealand.

Any advice on which would be more beneficial for my future career? Thanks for the help!

You really want to fly to Malaysia........

"After you work on Wall Street it’s a choice, would you rather work at McDonalds or on the sell-side? I would choose McDonalds over the sell-side.” - David Tepper

despite the whole missing airplane thing, I highly suggest you do KL, Malaysia. It's a booming town with a lot of growth. I feel the experience will be invaluable, south east Asia is the place to be right now. I would do KL 10/10 times if I had the chance. It's fun, good party place, nice ppl, diverse, and booming business environment.

Singapore is bigger than anything in Oceania. Malaysia might help you there. There's nothing really big in New Zealand although I'd much rather live there than Malaysia. Doing an opportunity in New Zealand might help for getting a gig in Australia.

I've heard an overwhelming amount of support for KL from you all and oustide, so that will be my first choice. Definitely want to visit Singapore while I'm there. Thanks for the help!
