"Mark Zuckerberg Just Spent More Than $30 Million Buying 4 Neighboring Houses for Privacy"

This is hilarious. He starts the largest social networking site and then buys neighboring houses for so that he doesn't have to have neighbors.

Not hypocritical if you ask me. He saw a need and filled it, even if it wasn't HIS need. I don't drink but I'd help other people drink (responsibly) if I knew there was the possibility of a huge payout.

Dont trust anyone who doesnt drink.
If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford

What are you talking about?

The need for a platform like Facebook has nothing to do with privacy. Facebook has slowly reduced privacy on the platform to almost nothing, and with that has come reduced use.

It is hypocritical because he has made Facebook less private as the website has developed and has sold the information from removing this privacy. However, he then uses the money from selling away other people's privacy to buy his own privacy. Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.

But like I said meh... I don't really care anyway.

Frank Sinatra - "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy."

He is leasing them back to the current residents. Just didn't want to have the developers use him as a marketing ploy to sell the homes. I guess you can say he sort of went overboard but when you have that kind of money...........why not?

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Zucks growing up; he's already 29 years old, I believe.

More interesting question, what do you think he'll do 10 years from now ? Buy his own country ?

Winners bring a bigger bag than you do. I have a degree in meritocracy.

I think anyone who would buy a house because it's advertised as being in Zuck's neighborhood is a douche. Unfortunately, the person who would be attracted to the prospect of living near Zuck would also be the exact person who would openly brag about it.

Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.
