MBA without GMAT?
When applying for MBA programs I noticed that some do not require, or even request gmat scores. Is this typical or should I be weary of these programs?

Not sure about European schools, they may be an exception but otherwise I wouldn't bother with a business school that doesn't require GMATs unless you are old enough and can articulate how you would gain value from an EMBA that doesn't require it.
The programs I was looking at are not online, established universities on the west coast. I know they aren't MBA business schools ">M7, just wondering if their worth looking at.
Well we can't really advise you any further unless you tell us which programs specifically youre looking into.
EDIT: and what you are planning on doing after getting your degree
Untimely I want to work in management consulting. I'm looking at Dominican University of California, and other small liberal arts collages in the area. After dealing with the California state school system I decided that a private university was the way to go for me, but affordability became an issue with the better known schools. Thats how I ended up looking at schools like that.
Personally, Im not sold that an MBA from here would be worth what you are going to pay for it. Ask the school for employment stats and a list of employers that recruit there (specifically in consulting) and decide after that. I couldn't find any employment data on their site which is usually a red flag. Id be curious to see how many consultants this school really produces.
My friend got a perfect score on the GRE and got into MIT Sloan. Key contributing factors?
Didn't bother with GMAT and got turned down by other M7s.
