MBB Final Round Decisions
Hi all,
Realize there are older threads related to this, but am wondering if those who have gone through MBB final rounds this recruiting season have heard back already. Any updates would be great.
Currently from a Northeast target (applied through OCR), interviewed for major regional offices.
(Consensus seems to be that offers are given out anytime from the night of to 3-5 days afterwards, depending on the interviewers'/HR's schedule.)
If you're a clear yes, they'll typically call you the same day. If you're a no, they'll typically let you know in 3-5 days. If you're a maybe, they'll wait a week or two and see who if there is anyone interviewing the next week, then let you know.

Got my offer yesterday 2 hours after the interview. First decision round Friday for the HQ office of an MBB.
Congrats? Can't help but wonder if you interviewed for Boston or New York ;)
Just to add another data point: got my ding call Monday am after the interview.
Once Friday had passed without a call, I knew what was up and spent the weekend preparing (read: drinking heavily) for the inevitable.
For what it's worth, offers aren't always given the day of. Six people from my school had final rounds with one MBB this year. Two of them interviewed on a Friday and heard back the following Saturday (eight days later) and one got an offer and the other a rejection. The other four interviewed a week after the first two and all four heard back the Monday after (three days later) with one getting an offer and three getting rejections.
Anyone know what 2014 post-mba salaries are for BCG yet?
