Largest Asia Pacific offices for top consulting firms?

I was wondering whether anyone know where the largest Asia Pacific offices were for MBB, Monitor Deloitte, OW, Strategy&, etc. My guess would be Hong Kong / Singapore?

Also, since I only speak English, I'd probably be limited to those two locations anyway, right?

Absolutely. It varies by country, but for the big ones (eg, China, Japan, Korea) - transactional fluency is critical (reading and writing with some comfort in business/technical terms).

That shouldn't stop you from trying, and a clear plan for getting to that level of fluency can help mitigate your lack of it.

You may also consider SE Asian offices, where there are less established requirements and a more opportunistic approach to hiring (and thus, less emphasis on local language fluency). From there, it's easier to migrate to countries like China since you're in broader Asia.

Kevin, what do you think of opportunities in the consulting field in the SE Asian countries like Vietnam and Thailand? How are western consultants viewed in such regions where consulting seems to be less popular than the more developed markets in East Asia?

does anyone have more information on this? has anyone from NA gotten interviews at MBB in SE Asia? what were the differences in terms of their requirements in applicants and the interview process? language ability required?

thanks in advance
