McKinsey Transaction Service Line - Research Analyst

Anyone have experience with the transaction service line (research analyst) at McKinsey? From the position description it seems like this is BO, but it's hard to tell from all the fluff on the job description (attached in this message).

Was told that this would be in a knowledge center, and in another thread, someone said that the research jobs in the knowledge center are BO. But in the same thread, someone said that if you are assigned an industry in the research it could be a good FO exp. Was told that I'd be assigned an industry. Pretty confused. Really would prefer to be working with Excel and financial modeling.

Thoughts?

Looks like BO - you're doing research and supporting the transaction and helping write the LOI and purchase agreements. It doesn't look like you'll be doing any modeling at all - at least from what I read.
