Mistake applying for internships
I am a freshman at a semi-target in the Midwest looking for a wealth management internship in my area for this summer. I was just cold-emailing a bunch of different firms, and for one BB firm I just sent the same email with minor adjustments to 4 managers of different branches in my state. I sent a follow-up email two weeks after one of them emailed back asking for a resume, and it turns out that one office manages all of the internships for every branch in the state. So I guess what happened was the person managing the internships got about 4 almost identical emails from me from 4 different branch managers. I want to follow up with him to see where they are in the process but now I feel a little stupid knowing that he got a bunch of emails from me. Any advice on how to follow up?
If I was the manager, I would think that this kid works hard and really wants this internship.
