MM Advisory interview (Structured Products)
Hi guys,
A little background first, a little over a year working at a bulge bracket in a niche fund derivative financing group. Decent modeling experience, but largely on a bespoke basis, nothing along the lines of IBD. Always wanted to work in a more advisory based role, and I have a super day coming up with a MM bank for a structured products analyst role, pricing and evaluating illiquid products. Very knowledgeable when it comes to the trading world, but just looking for some general advice when it comes to an advisory role. I have a good handle on DCF based modeling, and can walk through it (without pretending to be an expert). Any suggestions on what to read up/study? Thanks a lot.
