Moving in with other bankers - any downsides?

Any obvious downsides I'm missing in moving in with other bankers (Same bank different teams)?

Biggest thing so far on my mind is buyside interview prep.. I know I want to leave in some 1-2y and obviously everyone I will be living with will hear me prep for interviews. Not sure how public you normally make it around fellow bankers?

Maybe overanalysing.

I prefer home to be a mental break from work, rather than a constant reminder of work.

Possibly not a mentally healthy place to be around bonus time, as there will be inevitable implicit or explicit comparisons.

I spent my 20s living with friends who studied/worked in a wide range of areas. Made for more interesting discussions, more interesting/diverse range of visitors, greater ability to pull bongs on the couch without worrying about incriminating myself in front of work colleagues who may not keep that to themselves.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

Obvious downsides include probably not seeing them most of the time to the point where you'll wonder if they've moved out or are living in the office.

I don't think you'll talk shop all the time, but because everyone speaks the same language, everyone will be going through the same problems. There's something to be said about being able to vent and having the opposite party know exactly what you're talking about.
