The greatest athlete of the 20th century has passed away. Braggadocios, controversial, and beloved - Ali is gone after a 30 year battle with Parkinson's disease. His stand against Vietnam and protests for civil rights are perhaps more important than his quick feet and quicker hands, he was never a man to shy away from leading rather than following. We can all learn from that. Of course, I am too young to have ever seen him fight in person, but the profound sadness I feel upon this news is indicative of his impact across generations, specifically among black America. Obviously, this is a forum on finance and it will remain so, but I felt it important for people to share their thoughts regarding the "bad man".
