Multi-Asset Strategies
Does anyone know what the Multi-Asset Strategies team at BlackRock does? It pretty much mentions every asset class in the description (below) - how deep does the analysis get? For example, would you actually do in-depth equity analysis? Do you actually engage in HF/PE strategies or is it a FoF thing?
Description:
The Multi-Asset team provides investment strategies and outcomes to institutional
and retail clients, generating investment returns primarily through asset allocation
across global equity, fixed income, currency, commodities and alternative investment
markets.
I don't know anything about the group, but the description saying "generating investment returns primarily through asset allocation" sounds very much like FoF work and not fundamental equity analysis.
Bump - does anybody have some color to add in regards to what this group really does?
