My chances with the BNY Mellon Rotational program

I recently applied for BNY mellon' rotational program. I'm a finance major from a non target school (3.67) , with three internships (one in retail banking, one doing budgets for the govt, and one as a benefits analyst) Do you think I could get an interview? Or do they only look for Ivy League individuals

Yes. If you met a manager ask to submit a resume. Ever better, if you can meet in person and build a rapport then you'll have a much better shot since he/she might like you and put in a good word, rather than a random resume drop.

Good Luck

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.

Also a non-target applicant w/ around the same credentials as the OP going for BNYM's Rotational Program. I did some research on LinkedIn and current participants were from some great schools but I did not see much IVY or even NESCAC. I could be wrong... used a small sample size.

I am applying as a FT BNYM employee, anyone have any input as to how that might affect my status? Current full timers are considered after the wave of undergrad applicants (spoke with the sr. recruiter) and I need to wait until February for an interview, if I can get one. (I know my chances are shitty). Thankful to already be employed here though.

How does State Street's program compare? Interviewing with them tomorrow.

Also, whats the best way to approach interviewing with these large custodial banks? Yeah, everyone wants to get FO rotational work but the majority of the staff at these places are in BO support roles. Wouldn't the quality of the program fluctuate if you get placed doing BO versus FO work?

Its too big and diverse of a place for my opinion to mean anything ... I am http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/BNY-Mellon-Reviews-E78.htm

All of these responses generally say the same thing...
