If you're only a Sophmore entering Junior year then you have two more years to crush. Your focus should be on working your ass off and getting straight As. As far as work goes I'll leave that to someone who knows more about b-school admission.

Learning how to drink and being able how to handle yourself in social situations with alcohol will ultimately take you further in life than your first two years of college. Do work.

take what i have to say with a grain of salt considering i've never applied to b school, but Samsung looks like a pretty sweet opportunity. that being said, i don't know what accenture would do for your application. but i gotta think a multinational company like samsung (especially in their strat group) would put you ahead of where a small PE fund would in terms of b-school apps.

Remember, once you're inside you're on your own. Oh, you mean I can't count on you? No. Good!

but the PE shop would probably be the best for ibanking if you wanted to get into that during senior FT recruiting

i spent 5 semesters at my uni but took some semesters with 4 courses or so and failed like 2 courses in my freshman year thus 64 creditsl lol.

I am really leaning towards the PE firm or Accenture because the large conglomerate culture of samsung is something i really despise...

For Internships in korea, just go for a gig that's gonna give you more exposure to the finance network. But you might get to do a more legit work with Samsung strategy than a PE firm.

I chose accenture because project was FNEP based (finance work) for a korean conglomerate and the work is pretty legit. expecting 5 mil profit for 3 months work for a 6 man team (3 interns).

Formula TNow I'm interested. How did alcohol alone get you a 2.7?

10 grand on alcohol alone freshman 1st semester and so on sounds about right lol and my school is notorious for grade deflation. avg graduating gpa is about 2.7~3.0
