Neuberger Berman - Alternative Investments Private Equity

Hi - I was wondering if anyone out there had an opinion on Neuberger Berman's Alternative Investments platform, specifically focused on Private Equity? Would really appreciate any color about how they operate, what they're like, etc.

Also, more broadly, are people familiar with the private equity investment platforms within more traditional Asset Management companies? Curious to hear how this segment operates differently from traditional private equity. Do they just not source deals in the same way, and only come in to invest alongside PE firms who need more capital? Thanks!
