New FDP
I just started the first round of my finance development program; any career advice for someone starting their career? I would say I am book smart, but my communication, networking, and technical skills (i.e. Excel) could be better. Advice on most important excel skills (specific to FP&A and Asset Management)? Advice on dealing with and communicating with colleagues and higher ups (i.e. learning quickly, delivering results and value, proving myself credible)? Advice on best leveraging my opportunity in general? ANY advice/insight would really be appreciated. In sum, I am pretty driven, pretty smart (so smart that I realize that I basically know little to nothing at this point), and am really just excited to maximize my opportunity. Thanks for the feedback in advance.
