Has anyone used this platform to find partners & practice cases?
I have very little case experience (1 live case) and am looking for a way to meet partners.

If anyone is looking for a practice monkey for consulting case prep I'm also in the market.
Yeah, I used it. There are definitely lots of people, from all kinds of places. Good thing about it was that you can choose and pre-select different partners by some criteria such as university. So it was easy to try a few partners until I was able to find someone I could work with very well. Many people there have already practiced a bunch of cases, so they have decent experience to help you and give you feedback. For the final touch, they also have experienced experts. Haven't tried them yet, but I think I will before I have my interviews...
Anybody see anything like this for ib interviews?
Hi Myke_888 and PSUeng, I am looking for practice partners as well. PM me if you are interested.
Case Interview – Preplounge – Prep4Success (Originally Posted: 01/22/2015)
I have some MBB interviews coming up and am currently practicing cases on Preplounge. I’m now thinking about joining their Prep4Success-programme. Has anyone joined the programme and can give some feedback on it?
It's better to get individual sessions with the experts if you can... 5*€150-300 is much less than the first three months' salary (which is the prep4success rate). Otherwise what you're doing thus far is more than enough :)
Thanks for your answer, Emios. I actually talked to one of the Prep4Success managers this week. He presented the programme to me in more detail and I now decided to join it. The Prep4Success rate is not the first three months’ salary, but half of my first month’s salary if I get an offer. Furthermore, it does not only comprise the expert sessions, but also you get premium membership and personalized extra study material. During the talk I really had the impression that they do care about me as a candidate and that I can consult them if I have any further questions or problems, etc.. So I think the programme is sort of an all-round carefree package. But I think I can probably say more about it and give feedback when I will have completed the programme.
I’m also using Preplounge and very happy with it, though I haven’t joined their P4S programme (I’m applying for an internship), but I had a regular case partner on Preplounge who joined P4S. He has just had his interviews and he got an offer from OW and according to him thanks to the experts from P4S.
Hi Kittycat, have you already had your interviews? How did it go? I'm new to case studies and looking for good resources.
Hi Kittycat, I wrote you a pm. Did you get it?
i did't get it :(
hey. sorry guys. I already joined BCG and right now I am a bit busy ;)
But anyway: the programme was great. would recommend it to everyone. got 3 sessions with BCG experts who really helped me a lot. obviously it worked out ;) worth the money. I chose the upfront model, so I paid 1600 dollars for the entire programme. much less than booking individual sessions. the success-based variant is a bit more expensive but it includes a "job insurance". think that's fair
have a great weekend
Hey guuuys, time for an update isn't it? I' am currently working for DHL Consulting. Signed my contract a couple of months ago. Now my little cousin is preparing for case interviews and I convinced him to go through the p4s-programme of preplounge. I went through that programm months ago and I think that the talent managers and the experts contributed massively to my progess. Paying the first salary to preplounge for the service was actually alright, not least because I enjoyed the first month working without even thinking about money^^ Kittycat how are you and how is it like in BCG?
I made the same experiences as Kittycat and tr22889 with p4s. This kind of all-round carefree package improves your perfomance from every point of view. It's like having a personal trainer by your side. I felt backed, more motivated, better skilled and simply better prepared for my interviews. And the two offers I received show that validity. I'm working now for Bain BTW, as an Associate.
Don't anyone feel weird that no negative comment towards preplounge on all websites that you can find on Google search?
First, it is unlikely that any consulting interview prep service could do 100% well.
Second, people who had negative experiences might not want to share because consulting is a very small world. Internet search can be very powerful to dig people out.
Third, those who got the job would prefer to build long term relationships with any consulting interview prep service so that they can get their payment by giving a few sessions.
If there is any company that everyone online at multiple websites said that it is great but you can not find that person's name and company info on Linkedin, it might indicate some problems ---- the online comments can contain fraudulent information.
Make your own judgement. If it helps, that would be great.
