Let's say you graduate from college and get an offer to join a hedge fund. What will be your title? (I'm guessing analyst) What will you do on a daily basis? What would your resume look like?

I would say it depends a lot on the type of fund, the culture, and the candidate's abilities. I could certainly see coffee-fetching at a large macro fund if you had relatively little experience, but I would imagine a value-oriented L/S fund would put you to work (assuming the culture supports this). Off the top of my head, you could expect building industry primers, supply chain checking, and some modelling.
