No summer internship offer from MBB

Hey guys kinda new to the forum, seeking some advice.

I recruited for one of the MBB's this spring and didnt end up with an offer for the summer internship after getting to the final round. How do I ensure that I'll get an interview for full time? Im doing an corporate internship at a large pharma/biotech company this summer. Also, what is the best way to network an interview from the other MBBs. Any advice would be helpful.

Stay in contact with your network/interviewers from the MBB you interviewed with. In my experience, people are generally very open to staying connected.

I would reach out to people at the other MBBs now and begin building up that network. Let them know that you're doing an internship at the pharma, but just say you're interested in learning about consulting. No different than how you would approach networking for internship.

I dont have contacts with other MBBs. Should I just reach out to recruiters directly? Im not exactly the most experienced with networking. Im generally good at talking with people, but I dont know which channels to use to get to that point.

Same comments as the other folks. Keep in touch with the interviewer who gave you the ding/feedback. Nothing intense, just shoot a message saying something like - hey, thanks again for giving feedback on interview. I'm going to XYZ for the summer but great to stay in touch as I head towards ft recruiting. Looking forward to internship but still definitely interested in your firm'. Similar message to 1-2 folks that you were closest with during the process. Then message again at end of summer. Light touch points but you're still on their radar.

As for other firms, I'd personally hold off networking until last summer - look to recruiting as well as alums from your school that are in your target office.

I believe its a semi target on the westcoast. I dont want to annoy them though, I have contacts with a principal, a manager and lots of associates. Which ones should I engage with the most? Also will my internship look good to them?
