Nomura Interview (second round)

Hi guys,

So I have a second round interview coming up with Nomura for the finance summer analyst program. I'm assuming the second round is going to be a mix of both behavioral and technical questions, but I'm not quite sure how technical. Should I focus primarily on reviewing the accounting section of the WSO guide?

don't listen to that guy, dude. For the finance summer analyst role, they will ask more on the fit side of things (walk me through your resume, strengths/weaknesses, tell me about a time that you led a group). However, the technical questions are definitely not as exhaustive as in ib interviews. I would still recommend the WSO guides, and it would be useful to review the accounting section. Be sure to conceptualize, not memorize

There's a closer meaning to my user name. Try reading it quickly. Perhaps you will then understand ;P

It was a very simple interview focused on some core competencies and other usual questions:

1) Team work 2) Creativity(how did YOU come up with a creative idea and pitch it to other people) 3) How do you work with some one you didn't like.

They also asked me about how my grades were calculated which I found rather weird and also the usual why IBD and why Nomura questions... It was really pretty chilled and I managed to get through to the final round.
