Non-trad Chances in PE

Hi everyone. I'm a joint degree candidate at Harvard Dental and HBS, so I'll be graduating with a DMD/MBA in 3 years. I haven't started B school yet, but I wanted to explore the possibility of working in IBD or PE after graduating, preferably in a health care division. Unfortunately I didn't have any finance experience in college. I do have a very strong leadership background and believe that this the most desirable career path for me. I know of many PE firms investing in large dental organizations (>100 practices) and I think that having the clinician's perspective would be helpful in improving operations and efficiency of clinical care. Attended Harvard Med first two years, so I have a pretty good medical background as well. Wondering what my chances are, if any, of getting job offers in the field and how I might prepare for this transition through the rest of dental school and into HBS. Thanks!
