Non-traditional student / former analyst resume review request

Hi everyone,

I'm a junior at a target (state) school, and am 26 years old. I've been an analyst (in intelligence) for the last 7 years, with the last couple managing up to 15 other analysts (while still performing analysis myself). Recruitment to BB and other firms is beginning here at school, and I want to do everything I can to make sure my resume is up to par to gain a summer analyst internship.

Areas of concern:

  • This is my first semester at this school and they set my GPA as 0 (transferring the credits with no grade weight). I love this because my former GPA was 3.42 (as I was working while going to school, etc) but I know that it's below the informal cutoff. I have also been told that leaving my GPA off entirely makes it appear that my GPA must be horrendous. I'd love some advice on how to handle this.

  • I have a ton of quantitative (and non-quantitative) analytical experience. However, the results are rarely quantified (either because they can't be or because there isn't necessarily a demand for successes to be quantified) and even when they are they, more often than not, are not able to be divulged to the public. I have been having difficulty "bankifying" these experiences, or at least phrasing them in a way that will interest banks.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Rip it apart!

(Just noticed that some of my bulleting is messed up and is removing the bulleting from every section after the first set of work experience; it's something to do with the way OpenOffice exports to PDF but I can't fix it until later.)

I wouldn't say "Unavailable" sounds really odd. I would list your transfer GPA or put "no GPA yet due to transfer"

All that military experience they are gonna love.

Gotcha. I'll switch it to "No GPA available at this time due to transfer" or something. It let's them know that I'm not trying to hide my GPA but that I don't actually have one from this school. Thank you.

Does anyone else have any critiques of any part of my resume? I'm supposed to send it to a few recruiters and an MD today, so I want to make sure it's about as perfect as I can get it.
