Not sure where to go from here

Hey guys,

Long story short: I extended my graduation by a semester in hopes of securing an SA after being unable to the previous year (for personal reasons beyond my control). Unfortunately, even after continuous networking, busting my ass meeting people, etc. I just came up short. And by just came up short, I mean to the point where I had two BB associates taking me out to lunch after my rejection to tell me how close I was. The rejections put me real down to the point where I even failed a class, which was just something that I don't do. This, coupled with other factors, had me go into a pretty bad depression and consequently had me doing nothing productive with my summer. Now I'm wondering what is best for me to do. Go back for the extra semester to finish my second, irrelevant major (I finished my Finance major, Econ is second which I did since I had a lot of requirements done for it already) or try and get a job doing, well, anything? I know this is only a little bit about me but if anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks guys

go for the second major because if you don't that failed class will lower your GPA. Retake that course and get a good grade and have your GPA be higher. Continue to network, but don't be discouraged if you can't land a BB role. Go for some of the family office type of firms as well.
