I'm doing a side project right now where I'm helping a CEO, who wants to start buying companies with his personal capital that are EBITDA.
Aside from generating proprietary deal flow from networking and cold calling, I might point him towards some online deal databases/resources. What are the best listings sites that are out there (or are they all junk?)

http://www.bizbuysell.com/ is pretty good - you have to be confident in doing your own diligence and transaction structuring though - most of the time all you'll get is tax returns, and the rest is qualitative discussion with the owner. A far cry from a CIM.
