Operations Management or Portfolio Manager Assistant
Hi all,
I am currently working in the Ops Mgmt team of a top tier AM firm as an Associate, basically working on metrics reporting, Internal Control and Ops related projects. Currently there is a chance for me to move to FO as an Assistant PM, the role does not involve investment decisions but only implementing them.
I am thinking if this would be a good move, since i am moving from back to front but however the role is very routine and I do not know the career path after that, seems the way out is narrow.
I guess my current role in Ops can either bring me to a Ops Manager or Project Manager in the future.
Any idea?
