Operations summer program JPM

Hey guys I havent been on here in a while im in need of some advice. Im a rising junior and have an interview for the operations analyst development summer program at JPM. Has anyone been through this interview process and know what type of questions they ask and how the process is structured? This is my only possibility right now so im really trying to land this. All comments and responses are more than welcome. Thanks again.

Look, not everyone gets into IBD or AM. Ops at JPM is a very good gig that pays well, so if you get an offer, take it,

Interview advice:

I can almost certainly say from experience that there will be no technical questions. You interview will be 99% behavioral, but expect questions about JPM and Ops. Try to understand what OPs does at JPM, and how the Operations Division is structured.

Good luck and PM me if you need any specific advice about the interview.

The interview will be 99% behavioral. The interviewer will want to see how well you can communicate/tell your story. They may ask an excel question but it doesn't get more difficult than vlookups and pivot tables I actually received an offer with JPM ODAP for this summer, best of luck to you!

I recently went through the interview process for this and was fortunate enough to get an offer for the OADP program with JPM for the upcoming summer. As others suggested, the interview was entirely behavioral, and they tend to ask questions that involve a hypothetical situation. One question that came up multiple times asked what you would do if your supervisor was on vacation and you had a question about an assignment? Obviously, they want to make sure you won't bother them on vacation and are willing to ask around in the office for advice. Other things they are looking for almost always tie back to why operations? Make sure you have a very good response to this even if you aren't planning on doing Ops long term (like me). Hope that helps and good luck!
