Outlook vs Gmail?
Hi!
I'm looking to make a new email. I've heard that in some cases having a @hotmail email could be harmful. Of course it could be BS, but however I'm making a new email.
Which one would you recommend, Gmail, Outlook or something else. I'm choosing the email based on "what it says about me", so what should I go for? Also which one would be the most practical for working in finance.
I get it that it makes probably little difference, however I just want to make every detail as good as possible.
Thank you!
Outlook is the most widely-used one in the industry, and I find it pretty user-friendly these days.
Outlook should be second choice if a suitable Gmail address is not available.
Really? This is what you spend your time worrying about?

What the title says: do most people use Outlook in banking? Or Gmail on the browser?
Outlook, never heard of anyone in banking ever use gmail for work.
Use Outlook for work. Use Gmail for personal use.
What does Outlook offer that Gmail doesn't? I'm just really used to Gmail
OP, I think there's a bit of misunderstanding between what you asked and what posters thought you asked. If you're asking for work email (as in, what banks use for your work email), none of this matters. You will use whatever the bank gives you. Sending out work-related emails on a personal email account can be a fireable offence. If you're asking what we use in our personal lives, I would just pick one. I like Gmail. Some people use Outlook. It doesn't matter.
Outlook is good for work and Gmail is good for personal use. In terms of banking usage the employees will have an inter portal for communications.
Whatever Hillary doesn't use.
